Zwart Licht

I found out about this group last year, I stumbled upon them on youtube.  Actually I was listening to Kempi Zoveel Stress and then I found them listened to them.  I listened to all of their albums, now ik sprek een beetje Nederlands, but I like their mateiral.  Shows you how much I care for US radio these days.

Pride comes before fall…

When I was heavy into organized religion this was one of my favorite verses to keep absorbed onto my heart and still to this day it is.  No, I am not the most humble person on the planet, I am Emcee so talking smack comes with the territory. On the other hand, I strongly believe there is a certain way one should carry his/herself in regards to modesty no matter if the job title requires “cockiness”.  I hope that makes sense, I suggest to many use discretion in your actions, or you will learn the hard way.  School of Hard Knocks Tested.

Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

לִפְנֵי-שֶׁבֶר גָּאוֹן;    וְלִפְנֵי כִשָּׁלוֹן, גֹּבַהּ רוּחַ.

Mishlei (Proverbs) 16:18

On the following website you can get scripture in parallel English/Hebrew text, plus the chapters are in audio. Awesome!!!

My Favorite Prez…

Yes, I am aware that Obama is president, however let us reflect on the wisdom of our previous leaders.

“Do you have blacks, too?” –to Brazilian President Fernando Cardoso, Washington, D.C., Nov. 8, 2001
George W. Bush

I’m going to stop doing a daily post.  I think I have enough Bush quotes to get my point across, especially in comparison with the other quotes on this blog from various “Books of Wisdom” and notable figures, this should answer the question to anybody who may ask, “Why I do not care for politics?” It does not make me any more sophisticated to have discussions about people who make statements such as the one above.  What more can I say…I’ll just say it later, this is blog…

Quote

Every race of people since time began who have attempted to describe God by words or painting, or by carvings, have conveyed their idea that the God who made them and shaped their destinies was symbolized in themselves. . .
