Creative Challenge

This is an exercise that I started I would say 2100 tonight, in hopes to crank out something that involves the use of many of my creative talents and abilities.  It all started with “Ride the wave of creavity and create.” All I could think about was being creative and using my imagination. I issued myself the challenge rhyme as many lines as I could matching as many syllables as I could then create a visual image out of these words.  I gave myself hour for the challenge and this is how I sharpen my creative abilities and “kick myself in the ass” to go somewhere with this.  This tests my ability to rhyme as MC, poet, and songwriter and also the ability to compose graphics exercising the use of typography…

I ride the wave of creativity and create..

As I tried to save the sanity of my mind state,

On a side where slaves build there own cages and gates.

once we Rise from the graves, reality is the topic of debate,

Can’t hide the crave, the desire of fantasy arrived a bit too late.

So deprive or fade the landscape of vocabulary when words take shape…

That is what I cranked, however I will go back and edit it to make it better…A little something.  I think it sucks!!!

Afghanistan

Personally I find Afghanistan to be interesting in every way.  Even following the most recent history is like following a television series, a soap opera for history buffs, military enthusiasts, and foreign policy addicts.

It’s like Desert Punk in real life.

Arabic Language Research

Arabic Language Research

I bookmarked this for myself, but also for anybody else who may need to find the correct stroke order for writing the arabic alphabet.  This link goes through the isolated forms in addition to the initial, medial, and final.  It’s really not that difficult to learn and a motivated learner can get it within a week.  Great resource.

Bruce

Bruce has some very nice quotes!

“I’m not in this world to live up to your expectations and you’re not in this world to live up to mine.”

(Peter Tosh also said that)

“Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one”

“Adapt what is useful, reject what is useless, and add what is specifically your own.”

(My favorite)

All from Bruce Lee (Rest in Power)

Thought of the day.

The use of gemstones and crystals isn’t a new age thing, people of the past have used them in various rituals for their different properties they are believed to have.  From the Catholics to the Hebrews and even in today’s modern science.

Which also makes me think, nowadays we have information at our fingertips and we can thoroughly research whatever we find questionable.

Peace.

Quote

“The pioneers of a warless world are the [youth] that refuse military service.”

Albert Einstein

What a beautiful quote, however once we can understand how militaries are created and learn to understand exactly what causes conflict there will always be a need for a military force.  Utopia is not possible in a selfish world, especially in the industrialized world.  As for my man Einstein, much respect for the genius, but wasn’t this the guy who helped develop the atomic bomb?  Correct me if I’m wrong.

Nevertheless the battle continues worldwide and is escalating into another world conflict.  Things can possibly go from 0-60 very quickly, I’m all for world peace, but my hope for humanity is that we adjust ourselves accordingly.  So I’m hoping for sunshine and maintaining a peaceful stance, however I am keeping the guns nearby for a defensive posture.  This isn’t a game.
